Hardox® 450

The world's most used wear plate grade.

What is Hardox® 450?

Hardox® 450 is the most popular abrasion-resistant steel on the market. The extra 50 HBW over Hardox® 400 gives better dent and abrasion resistance and longer wear life, while the grade keeps excellent structural properties, bendability and weldability. Most of the wear parts BSF builds use Hardox® 450.

Properties below follow the official SSAB® datasheet and product program. For stock and lead time in Egypt, ask BSF.
