From preheater cyclones to clinker transport, cement ducting sees continuous attack from raw meal and clinker dust. Hardox liners extend the interval between planned shutdowns and keep material flowing on spec.
Clinker dust and raw meal abrade duct walls through sliding contact and fine particle erosion. SSAB cites Hardox 450 and 500 Tuf for separators and deflectors, and Hardox 500, 550, and 600 for liner plates across the cement production chain.
